Audio Chemists worked with the Massachusetts Office of Technical Assistance to create an animated PSA focused on reducing the spread of toxic chemicals as a result of climate disasters. As extreme weather events become more intense and frequent, companies that handle toxic or hazardous chemicals face increased risks of exposure to workers, surrounding communities, and the environment. Thankfully, the Massachusetts Office of Technical Assistance (OTA) is here to help. They provide manufacturers with free, confidential environmental technical assistance to help them reduce their use of toxics, lowering the risk of chemical releases in an emergency. OTA can help identify a facility’s climate vulnerabilities and find opportunities to mitigate chemical hazards.
