We partnered with Red Sofa Designs and the National Institute of Drug Abuse (NIDA) to produce the video series, “At the Intersection: Stories of Research, Compassion, and HIV Services for People Who Use Drugs,” a web video series that highlighted work being done at IDEA Exchange in Miami, Florida, a comprehensive syringe services program. IDEA’s participants, peers, and clinicians relate their lifesaving approach to addressing the intertwined epidemics of HIV, overdose, and addiction. The first video series was released on World AIDS Day (December 1) 2021.

The second video series took us to New York City. We interviewed Christian Gov, Ph.D., of the City University of New York (CUNY) School of Public Health, and Adam Carrico, Ph.D., of the University of Miami, about their NIDA-supported research on preventing and treating HIV among sexual minority men who use meth. Once production wrapped, we worked with Red Sofa Designs to craft a paper edit, edit the videos, animate motion graphics, color grade, mixdown audio, and caption in 2 languages.
